Therapist Belief Identifications
The following belief identifications are ordered alphabetically. Please see dictionary.com or Wikipedia for more information on these definitions.
- Agnostic
A person who holds that the answers to the basic questions of existence, such as the nature of the ultimate cause and whether or not there is a supreme being, are unknown or unknowable. - Atheist
A person who does not believe in the existence of a supreme being or beings. - Secular Humanist
A believer in secular humanism -- a philosophy, belief system or life stance that embraces human reason, logic, secular ethics, and philosophical naturalism while specifically rejecting religious dogma, supernaturalism, and superstition as the basis of morality and decision making.
